Get to know the painter Erik Hårdstedt from Uddebo and take part and experience the unique properties of watercolour in a natural enviroment.
Erik Has many years of experience of watercolour painting and been in charge of several workshops throughout the years. he has a large register of exhibitions in Sweden and Denmark. among those he has been featured on Liljevalchs in Stockholm.
Erik Shows in unison with the workshop an exhibition at Gislaveds Konsthall with opening on saturday 17 of august.
He has recieved several scholarships and is featured at the Nordic Watercolour museum in Skärhamn. Erik has throughout the years worked with public exhibitions one of them is present at Fristads trainstation.
Many trips to India are the grounds for a part of Eriks motifworld,but also other motifs such as portraits, landscapes and details from the everyday. For example Lego, casette tapes, the inside of a refridgerator and shopwindows.
Watercolour is a paradoxical artform, watercolour is childrens playthings and at the same time a traditional medium for artistic refinement. takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master.
